On October 30th, Mass Appeal along with The Jam Master Jay Foundation, The DL, and Control Sector will be celebrating the life and career of Queens’ own Jam Master Jay. The charity event will be one for the ages, featuring a wealth of talent spinning on the ones and twos. Folks that make it out to the JMJ Celebration can look forward to Jay’s two sons, TJ Mizell and JMJSON, hitting the decks in addition to sets from DJ Hurricane and DJ Scratch.
Donations at the event are encouraged, and all proceeds from the event will be going to support Music & Arts Grants for NYC schools. In addition to donating, folks can also purchase limited edition posters featuring artwork from Cey Adams and Glen E. Friedman as well as a slew of limited edition merch from Control Sector.
You gotta make sure that you RSVP to attend, you can do that by hitting up RSVP@MassAppeal.com. The Celebration of Jam Master Jay will be going down at the DL October 30, 8-11pm, located at 95 Delancey Street. 21+ only.
